This mould is made using pre domed acrylic blanks.

Your finished resin piece will come out domed and shiny. Due to resin components, glitter, pigment and dyes which can all affect the integrity of the mould, the mould will eventually lose its shine after multiple pours.

Apologies this cannot be used with UV Resin.  Please leave a note if you require translucent silicone compatible with UV Resin.

Each shape is a standard 3mm thick plus doming. Mould is 9-10mm in depth.  Weighs approx 45g

measurements in millimetres:

Circles 12mm in diameter 

mould is 40g approximately 

Rectangular mould measures 75x53mm in size 

I highly recommend keeping mould release amongst your craft supplies stash to aid in the removal of cured resin.

Q. Do your moulds have any imperfections?

A. Yes. As this is fully and entirely a handmade product, please note that some minor flaws and imperfections can occur.  We do our absolute best to create a flawless product but we work only with our hands and not with the help of any machinery. Please take this into consideration when purchasing our handmade moulds & please consider this disclaimer if you find our moulds are not 100% perfect.

 

Q. Are the moulds food safe?

A. No. Our Glitzy Glitter moulds are not food safe.

 

Q. What material can I use inside the mould? 

A.The GGS moulds are made of silicone that is only compatible with epoxy resin.

 

Q. Can I use the moulds with UV resin?
A. No. They are not designed for use with UV resin. UV resin cannot penetrate coloured opaque silicone.

 

Q.Can I place heat near this mould?

A. No. The mould cannot withstand heat. Please avoid placing in the oven and take extreme caution if you must bring a heat gun or heat source to your resin inside this mould.
